Often times we live by our timelines and our schedules and are frustrated by interruptions to our plans. But what if God intended interruptions to be opportunities, not just annoyances?

Each time we choose to share our story we are choosing someone else's freedom over our own comfort. It isn't easy. But we were made for it.

When we are far from God, He is still encountering us in our every day lives. He intercepts us in ways that at the time don't feel extraordinary, however, in hindsight turn out to be just what we needed.

I can only imagine that Mary may have a good laugh at our contemporary Christmas song: silent night. What would she have been thinking and feeling, and how does that resonate with us, as we prepare to celebrate the Savior's birth each year?

Our faith is never something that should be stagnant. There should be growth. How do we know if we are growing in our faith? What can we do to make sure that we are becoming more like Jesus in our every day lives?

We serve a big God- but when we only anticipate seeing Him move mightily, we may miss the intimacy of His care.

Ignoring obvious places of pain seems like the best way to deal, right? Often times, the wounds not only deepen but expand, contaminating other parts of our lives. We have to seek proper healing to have wholistic living.
